How the United Muslims Aqiqah Donation Works
Aqiqah is performed on the birth of a newborn by the parents to fulfil a beautiful Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). By sacrificing livestock and distributing meat among family, friends and the needy, the newborn is introduced to the Muslim Community, and the gift of life is celebrated. United Muslims has made it easy for the families living in the West to give their Aqiqah online. Aqiqah Package for Baby Boy
For a baby boy, our Aqiqah package includes sacrificing two goats and a £10 Sadaqah donation for the baby’s shaved hair. The total amount for this package is £210. The cattle sacrificed for Aqiqah are healthy, and the meat is distributed fresh amongst families in need.
Aqiqah Package for Baby Girl
For a baby girl, our Aqiqah package includes sacrificing one goat and a £10 Sadaqah donation for the baby’s shaved hair. The total amount for this package is £110. The cattle sacrificed for Aqiqah are healthy, and the meat is distributed fresh amongst families in need.
Sadaqah of Additional Goats
To give extra Sadaqah or sacrifice additional goats in the name of your parents or loved ones, please add the amount to your total donation and leave instructions in the notes section. Each extra goat costs £100. These sacrifices are carried out with Aqiqah, and the meat is shared with those most in need.

Sacrificing Animals
Adhering to the Islamic principles, we perform the sacrifice of animals in the local communities closer to the underprivileged families. Through our online Aqiqah donation system, you can contribute to the sacrifice of one goat for a baby girl and two goats for a baby boy. Since the preferred timing for performing an Aqiqah is within the first seven days of the birth of a newborn, we try to use the Aqiqah donations within this timeline. We also make sure to inform our donors once the sacrifice has been performed and the meat has been distributed.
Distribution of Meat
The essence of Aqiqah celebrations lies in sharing the blessing of Allah with other Muslim brothers and sisters. The Aqiqah donations are used to distribute fresh, raw meat as soon as the animals have been sacrificed. The distribution of meat is mainly carried out in regions stricken by poverty, conflict, or natural disasters to make sure that those underprivileged families partake in the blessings of Aqiqah celebrations of our donors.

Distributing Sadaqah for Shaving the Head
Through our online Aqiqah donations, the Sunnah of shaving the newborn’s head can be performed easily. Using our donation form, you can contribute for a baby’s shaved hair in addition to the sacrifice of the animals. The hair of a newborn weighs around 12 grams, and at today’s silver rate, it amounts to £10 per baby.
Distributing Sadaqah of Additional Goats
Most of our donors give extra goats so more people can share in the joy of their newborn’s celebration. We sacrifice these animals along with the Aqiqah animals and distribute the meat to a greater number of people. This extra distribution is treated as Sadaqah and helps us feed even more families.
